Harry Robert Brake In reviewing “The Hairy Man”, kids today LOVED this play!
The actors never act as if they are appealing to a children’s audience at all, the tone of the actors/actresses keep the humor, the ‘at first not noticeable rhyme’ of lines, the traditional folklore behind the story (as you read it in the program, and the overall appeal of the use of characters to form a unique bit of scenery all make walking away from this play a sure way to keep a smile on your face. Love the idea of how different the stage is for the audience, and the appeal it has for adults and for children!
