April Fool’s Day! Ironically, this was my Dad’s Birthday, yep – believe it or not – April 1st.
This is where I am on this day – To date, there has been no one that has been able to teach me the following- WITHOUT saying a word.
-No matter the time, being available to help anyone, anytime- it is just who we are.
-When others are boasting about they are doing or have done, do the opposite, do more.
-Animals are human.
-When you find yourself boasting, stop and put energy into pushing another up.
-Don’t know how to to do it? Learn.
-Avoid all alcohol, avoid all smoking. Your body performs better.
-No matter how much money you think you have, act as if you have none, as it will disappear but your character will not.
-Let people SEE who you are without hearing.
-Share extra food at all costs with as many as you can.
-Don’t be afraid to be silly around children, create dreams for others, and show everyone how to make things happen.
-Be suspicious of all authority.
-Involve family in everything you do, nothing is off the table when it comes to family.

And of course-
It still is incredible that all of the things I have done, I have not achieved HALF of what my Dad achieved in a single year. Amazing. This says alot, but says even more about what we can do, should do, and could do, for others, and then what this does for us individually.
I miss you Dad, but know you are with me in so many different ways!
